Good news and Bad News

Bad news is that I've been sick in bed for almost a week but the good news is that I've learned how to make some scrap things. (Thank goodness for laptops.) I am definitely no designer and never will be but I do enjoy trying new things. I've just made some simple papers and very simple elements but nonetheless I'm proud of myself. (Gives self a pat on the back. ) LOL Anyway, everything on this page I made. Since I use the program DIS2006 that isn't easy to do. I do have PSP but haven't learned it yet and may never learn it. I swear I might as well be trying to learn Greek. I think I'm going to need a hands-on teacher for this one. LOL Any volunteers out there? hehe

Oh, I just have to tell you that I have the best hubby in the world. He surprised me with a gift certificate yesterday for a day at the spa. The name of the package is "I'm going to need a ride home." I would say that will be true by the time they get done with me. I'm getting an oxygen facial, massage, spa manicure and pedicure, sea salt glo treatment, and a spa lunch. (whatever that is) I hope it's good. LOL Anyway, I wonder if he's trying to tell me something or just thinks I need a day to relax. I know I've been neglecting some body parts over the winter so maybe he's trying to tell me my feet feel like sandpaper. LOL

OK, I've rambled enough for today. Oh, this is my wonderful SIL in this LO.

LO I Did For A Challenge

I did this one for the Friday Freebie Challenge over at Digitalfreebies.

This is me, Cassie, my granddaughter and Andrea, my daughter. We were just

playing around with the camera one day and I kinda liked this one.

New to Blogging

This is my first post to my blog as you can see. I'm not sure yet what I will post here but I'm sure I will be posting some scrap pages and maybe some of my other creations. Right now I'm mostly doing digital scrapping so that will probably be what I post most. I'm just kinda testing the waters so to speak to see what this blogging world is all about. I'm not good at writing so we'll see what shows up here. I may even tell a funny story now and then. You wouldn't believe the funny things that go on in a tanning salon. There is never a dull moment. LOL
